Speaker submissions

The Science Summit at UNGA79 invites the global research community to submit session proposals. Accepted sessions will be included in the Summit’s Agenda.

Sessions should demonstrate how science contributes to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals through practical examples.

Each session will last for 2 hours.

The person submitting the proposal, known as the convenor, will serve as the main contact with the Science Summit management team. A convenor may submit up to two session proposals.

Submission and participation in online sessions are free of charge.

While sessions are primarily online, in-person sessions in New York are possible but will incur venue rental and catering costs. Convenors interested in this option should contact the Summit management team.
